Conditions of Enrolment

  • A completed enrolment form is required by all participants prior to commencement of training, all questions must be answered and the terms and conditions accepted. The enrolment form may be posted, emailed, completed online or on premises.
  • For participants accessing government funding subsidies there will be additional requirements including evidence of eligibility for the funding.
  • At the time of enrolment arrangements need to be made for the payment of course fees. Only when we have received the completed enrolment information and payment will you be enrolled into your chosen course.
  • No certification will be issued until the full fee and all required information is received.

Applications & payment for the W501-W507 courses are required a minimum of 6 weeks prior to course commencement

Applications & payment for the 10314NAT – Course in Asbestos Awareness are required 7 days prior to course commencement

 

Unique Student Identifier (USI)

Robson Environmental is unable to issue an attendee with any nationally recognised VET qualification or statement of attainment without a valid USI.

If you do not have a USI, you can apply for one by visiting www.usi.gov.au

 

Payment options

Credit Card payments can be taken over the phone or on premises

If paying by Cheque, please make it payable to: Robson Environmental, 140 Gladstone Street Fyshwick ACT 2609 – Cheques must be presented a minimum of 10 days prior to the 10314NAT Course to enable them to be cleared through the Bank.

TFA Rebate

To be eligible for the TFA training fund rebate, a company needs to conduct a minimum of 80% of their work in the ACT in the building and construction industry and accordingly the rebate is available to attendees completing eligible courses.

Robson Environmental will adjust the price of the course, where an attendee is eligible for the rebate and will  claim the rebate back directly from the TFA. It is the attendee/person booking the training’s responsibility to determine the percentage of work done in the ACT and they will be liable for the financial repercussions if this information is not accurate

 

Refund Policy

Cancellation of training with less than 5 days written notice will incur a fee. Please refer to TDP009 – Refund Policy for full details.

In exceptional circumstances, please apply to the Training Manager to request a refund.

Please note: Robson Environmental is unable to issue refunds or exchanges where an attendee fails to attend their booked course.

 

Substitution

Once booking has been confirmed no substitutions can be accommodated unless prior consultation has been made with the Robson Environmental Training Section. Any changes/alterations or substitution that occur may incur an administration charge.

 

Privacy Collection Notice – Training

Robson Environmental Pty Ltd is committed to complying with the requirements of the Australian Privacy Principles (APP) and the Privacy Act (Commonwealth) 1988.

Personal Information collected is maintained in our training records and is used in the issuing of training competency certification and obtaining feedback on our training services provided. Robson is required to collect and validate an attendee’s Unique Student Identifier (USI) against the Registrar database maintained by the Federal Government. This USI is then used alongside the attendee’s details when conducting the legislatively required reporting annually.

We are required by law to make some participant information and statistics available to State and Federal government departments. Participant information may be used in applications for funding from the ACT Building and Construction Industry Training Fund.

Applicants for the British Occupational Hygiene Society W501 – W507 courses should be aware that personal information is provided to the British Occupational Hygiene Society, located in Britain, as required on their course documents for awarding of certificates. The British Occupational Hygiene Society privacy policy is available online via: http://www.bohs.org/privacypolicy/

By accepting these Terms & Conditions you consent to Robson Environmental releasing your personal details as provided by you for the purposes listed above.
