John Robson
Managing Director

BSc.Grad.Dip.Occ.Hyg., Cert. Marine Engineering, Cert Ind.Hyg.Science, Class A Asbestos Assessor, NATA Signatory for id and fibre counting , Cert Electron and Microscopy, Cert IV Training and Assessment, Cert 1 Mould Investigation, AIOH Provisional Member.  He has been appointed by NATA (2001) as an assessor in the field of Chemical Testing and  in 2011 became a NATA Council Representative ACT.  John has over 23 years experience as a Director, and provides consulting services to clients throughout Australia and internationally in Japan, South Africa, Zimbabwe, Kenya, Mauritius, Nigeria, Burma, Malaysia, PNG, Indonesia and throughout the Pacific. John has also completed the BOSIET~HUET (Basic Offshore Safety Induction Emergency Training ~ Helicopter Underwater Escape Training) at IFAP Fremantle – Offshore and Maritime Training Centre.  He is also certified to conduct work on PETRONAS controlled ships off Malyasia.

Anne Robson
Director

A Class Asbestos Assessor, NATA Signatory, Cert IV Training and Assessment, Cert I Mould Assessment.  Anne has 26 years experience in Asbestos Air Monitoring, Hazardous Materials surveying, Project Management and Training throughout Australia, Kuala Lumpur, Nauru and Burma.  Anne has been a Director of Robson Environmental since its inception.

Ian Welsh
Manager – Hazardous Materials 
and Laboratory Services

BSc. (Hons), S301/CCP (Asbestos),  NATA Approved Signatory for both bulk ID, SMF and fibre counting. Ian joined Robson Environmental with over 23 years experience within environmental services specialising in asbestos management and abatement. He has extensive experience in asbestos project management and statutory monitoring necessary for asbestos abatement work within both the UK and Australia under the UKAS and NATA accreditation schemes. This experience has helped many clients to meet project objectives while achieving compliance with ever increasing regulatory requirements and demands.

Gerard Keane
Senior Consultant – Hazardous Materials

Ged is a Class A Asbestos Assessor (ACTPLA), NATA Approved Signatory for both bulk id and fibre counting  and certified by the  British Occupational Hygiene Society (BOHS) Qualifications include P402 Building Surveys and  Bulk Sampling for Asbestos, P405 Management of Asbestos in Buildings, NEBOSH Diploma in Environmental Management, General Certificate in Occupational Safety and Construction and certificate in Health & Safety. Ged joined Robson Environmental with over 4 years asbestos surveying and management experience, Prior to this, Ged served with the British Army as a Warrant Officer and has significant experience in management, planning and organising.

Peter Hengst
Senior Assessor – Hazardous Materials

Peter is Class A Asbestos Assessor and also holds a Class A Asbestos Removal License (ACTPLA). Peter has over 20 years experience in the theory and practice of asbestos removal, both nationally and overseas. He is responsible for ensuring that all quality assurance and legislative requirements of asbestos removal and Hazardous Materials works are adhered to. Peter has expertise in the compilation of health and safety and risk surveys and audits and hazardous materials management plans.

Kyle Hulme
Consultant – Hazardous Materials

Kyle is Class A  Asbestos Assessor (ACTPLA), NATA Approved Signatory for both bulk id and fibre counting , is certified by the BOHS for P402 building surveys and bulk sampling for asbestos, and has undertaken the P901 Proficiency Certificate Course in Legionella Control also under BOHS. Kyle joined Robson Environmental in October 2009 with over 3 years of asbestos surveying experience.

Karen Patterson
Administration – Hazardous Materials

Karen joined Robson Environmental in 2010 following ten years in the banking sector, and 13 years experience in retail and general administration.

BA (Rec.Arts) Diptech Prod (Music). Michael is a Class B Asbestos Assessor (ACTPLA) and has over ten years experience undertaking Asbestos Surveys.

Simon Saville
Consultant – Laboratory Services

A Class Asbestos Assessor (ACTPLA), NATA Signatory for both bulk id and fibre counting  P401 Bulk Asbestos Fibres (U.K), A Class Asbestos Removalist.  Simon has over ten years experience in the asbestos industry and has worked extensively throughout the ACT, NSW, Japan, Malaysia and Burma.

Leo Menssen
Assistant Manager – Laboratory Services

Leo holds a B Class Asbestos Assessor (ACTPLA) licence and has been a NATA Signatory for 15 years.  He has nearly 20 years experience in conducting air monitoring and clearance inspections and is responsible for the servicing and calibration of Robson Environmental air sampling equipment, and project scheduling and management.

Neill Ross
Manager – Training

Neill is a B Class Asbestos Assessor and NATA accredited Asbestos Counter with extensive hazardous materials experience, occupational health and safety, asbestos surveys and auditing experience.  Neill also administers the visa and immigration program for Robson Environmental.He is currently the Defence consultant and holds Defence security clearances which include 24hr access, Escort and Camera privileges.

Venessa Thelan
Manager – Occupational Health and Hygiene

BAppSc (EnvHlth), Grad Cert OccHyg, MOcc&EnvHlth&Safety Cert IV’s in Training and Frontline Bus Mngmt, Cert I Mould Investigation MAIDGC, Prov. MAIOH. Over 15yrs experience in industrial hygiene, public health and workplace safety both in Australia and overseas. Specific experience with Dangerous Goods and the design and implementation of risk based hygiene projects particularly in the mining industry.

Alan Threlfall
Consultant – Occupational Health and Hygiene

BSci(Psych), MOHS, Cert IV Workplace Assessment and Training.  Al has worked in the education sector for the last 8 years managing the operations of outdoor education programs and facilities.  He has a broad range of experience in assessing occupational hygiene hazards, with specific expertise in indoor air quality, legionella management and mould identification and remediation.  Al is currently completing his Masters in Occupational Hygiene Practice at Wollongong University.

Marcus Donnelly

Cert IV Workplace Assessment and Training; Cert 1 in Mould Investigation, Assoc Mbr AIOH.  Marcus has a broad range of experience in assessing occupational hygiene hazards, with specific expertise in indoor air quality, legionella management and mould identification and remediation. Marcus also assists in design and delivery of the Robson Environmental Asbestos Awareness training module. .

Eddie Janssen

MAIOH Eddie has over 20 years industry and consulting experience in OHS, and Hazardous Materials including asbestos work. His capabilities extend to developing and implementing systems and cultural OH&S change, developing and delivering OHS training, managing and consulting in all areas of health and safety including;  Risk Management, Workers Compensation Claims Management, Environmental, Human Resources, Emergency Response and Security Services.

Coline Constable

BOcc Hlth & Env, Dip Safety,Chartered Professional SIA, Student Member AIOH.  Coline has been employed by Robson Environmental since May 2010 as a safety and quality specialist and also develop and further her skills in Occupational Hygiene Practice.  She has been employed in health and safety positions for over 20 years including positions as a safety specialist and regulator at Local, State and National Government levels. Coline is also undertaking a Masters in Occupational Hygiene Practice at Wollongong University.

Dr Chris Gunton
Manager – Environmental Assessment and Remediation

Assoc Dip App Sc (Geoscience), BSc (Hons - Geology), PhD (Hydrogeochemistry). Chris has over 10 years experience as a geologist in the mining industry and as an environmental consultant. Specialising in hydrogeochemistry, Chris delivered a range of Phase 1 and 2 environmental site assessments, groundwater assessments, tank excavation assessments and soil and groundwater remediation projects in the ACT, NSW and QLD.

Stuart McElroy

BSc (Geology - Hons), MEng (Hydrogeology) Stuart is a Senior Environmental Scientist with over 11 years experience as an environmental consultant on a broad range of environmental and hydrogeological projects throughout the ACT, NSW, VIC and QLD. These projects have included Phase 1 and 2 environmental site assessments, groundwater assessments, soil and groundwater remediation programs, environmental Due Diligences and assisting NSW and Victorian EPA accredited Site Auditors with contaminated site and environmental auditing.

Rachael Williams

BSc (Geology - Hons), MSc Environmental Management.  Rachael is a Senior Environmental Scientist with over 6 years experience in environmental management in the mining and construction industries. Specific areas of experience include environmental management systems, contaminated land, air quality monitoring, environmental noise and waste management.

Ewan Dickenson

Dip.AppSc (Conservation Ecology). Ewan is a Senior Technical Officer with 7 years experience in environmental consulting.  Having worked in both  Australia and the United Kingdom, Ewan has gained experience in Phase 1 and 2 Site Investigations, Tank Excavation Assessments and various remedial technologies. 

Andrew Roberts

BAppSc (Environmental Science). Andrew is an Environmental Scientist with over 5 years experience in Environmental Consulting . Andrew has worked on a broad range of environmental projects including Phase 1 and 2 environmental site assessments, surface water and  groundwater assessments, tank excavation assessments, acid sulphate soil assessments and management plans as well as soil and groundwater remediation in the ACT and NSW.

Lynette Svanosio

Lynette joined Robson Environmental in 2004 after 13 Years in the Royal Australian Air Force. Lynette has successfully managed Company Administration and accounts through six years of immense growth. In 2010 Lynette was awarded a Paul Harris Fellow by Rotary International.

Debora Whitfield

Debbie joined Robson Environmental in 2005. Her employment history includes service within the Royal Australian Army and the Banking sector.  Debbie provides critical equipment management and purchasing functions.

Marg Iliev

Marg is a dedicated versatile and competent professional with over 25 years experience in a number of industries and a range of areas. She has successfully coordinated marketing projects, managed and processed debtors and creditors, worked as bookkeeper including payroll calculation.She holds Certificate II in Information Technology and Certificate III in Front Line Management and is currently undertaking Certificate IV in Financial Services.
